Software Engineer Defense / External Security (m/f/d)

Digital defence: You develop software solutions for the public sector – especially for Bundeswehr, BWI, BAIINBw, NATO and security authorities – and thus contribute to a defensive democracy. Software engineering: Depending on the profile, you work in the frontend, backend, fullstack or DevOps development. Practical implementation: You implement projects with modern technologies, delivers stable, secure and manageable software and brings you to design reviews and code reviews. Safety and Compliance Standards: You take into account project-specific security, data protection and compliance requirements in regulated environments and work with appropriate processes and specifications. Teamplay and Agility: In interdisciplinary teams, you work on agile action models (Scrum/Kanban), take Ownership for your topics and share knowledge.

DEIN PROFIL Funded training: studies of computer science or business informatics; completed vocational training in the IT field or non-specialised completion with at least five years of relevant professional experience in software development. Experience in the environment Security organisations: You have detectable experience with security authorities, Bundeswehr, NATO, BWI or the like – e.g. in projects, programs or operating environments with increased safety requirements and have a good understanding of processes, guidelines and procedures in the public safety environment. Technical competence: Depending on the design, you will bring e.g. experience in the backend in Python/FastAPI/Django, in Java/EE/Spring or in Rust with and/or in the front end with JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular and/or in Dev-Ops with Kubernetes, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm and Infrastructure-as code. Certificates: A plus, but no requirement, are certificates such as CKAD, CKA, CKS, ITIL, Oracle Java Developer, CPRE FL. Working and Mindset: You work independently, implement topics reliably in safety-critical domains and draw your attention through team skills and communication strength. AI Competence: You use AI tools in your area of expertise, evaluate the results critically and support customers and adessi to use potentials of AI. Language knowledge: Very good German and good English skills
