You are part of an expert team for the assessment and certification of rail vehicles and their components. You evaluate the braking equipment of rail vehicles - in particular with regard to the technical specifications for interoperability (TSI), complementary national requirements and European requirements in the field of Light Rail. You evaluate technical descriptions, brake engineering calculations and simulations in this context. You evaluate the thermal performance, the monitoring and control of braking functions, the drive and brake control as well as the evaluation of anti-skid functions and braking distance extensions. You evaluate brake-technical tests including the measuring technology used and carry out inspections and audits of brake systems and their components with the customer. In the role of the project manager, You conduct projects and monitor the quality, dates, economics, project risks etc. continuously in all phases of the project.

You have a successfully completed engineering degree. You have several years of experience in the development and design of braking systems in rail vehicles. You have extensive knowledge of the relevant standards and guidelines. You convince with a high degree of communication capability and successfully shape the direct exchange with our customers. You are distinguished by a proactive, independent, structured and analytical method. You prefer work in the team and show a high degree of reliability and sense of responsibility in all situations. You have knowledge in English and ideally in another foreign language as well as skills in the field of project management.
