Management Trainee F&B for Hotel Maier & Seegut Zeppelin (m/f/d)

As a Management Trainee F&B, you will get to know the gastronomic and operational processes in both houses – at Hotel Maier with the dining area and Zeppelin with the restaurant Pinus, events, conferences and special host moments at the lake. You are actively involved in day-to-day business and gain insight into the most important interfaces between service, kitchen, banquet, reception, housekeeping, shopping and management. This is not only about getting to know processes, but understanding them, shaping them and taking responsibility step by step. You support the R&B managers and the management in the organization of everyday operations. These include the preparation and accompaniment of restaurant and event processes, coordination with kitchen and service, guest contact, quality control, internal communication and the further development of clear and reliable processes. Depending on your experience, you will take your own small projects – for example to improve service quality, banquet structure, training, guest feedback, goods and process organization or event processes. You gradually grow into topics that are important for a later leadership or assistance function in the R&B sector.

You have a completed training in the hotel industry or gastronomy – or a study in the area of hotel management, hospitality, tourism, BWL, event management or R&B management. Ideally, you have already gained first experience in the restaurant, service, banquet, event area or in the operating hotel industry. More important than a perfect CV is that you really want to understand hotel industry and gastronomy: direct contact with guests, the processes in the background, the interplay of departments and the question of how a unanimous host moment is created from good preparation. You like to work with people, think with them, and can both practically wrap up and think about organization. You are reliable, attentive and structured, stay friendly and clear even in living situations and you want to take responsibility step by step. Since you are used in two houses, you should be open to getting to know different concepts, teams and processes. Good knowledge of German is important and English is helpful. If you have already worked with digital tools, office applications or hotel and gastronomy systems, this is a plus. Above all, if you take host quality seriously, you will be happy to learn and enjoy shaping two special houses on Lake Constance.

Reliable basics In principle, we award permanent employment contracts. Exceptions are training contracts and explicit seasonal contracts. Your working hours are accurately recorded – through transparent working time accounts and a simple schedule app. Tariff holiday and Christmas money are of course. Tax-free allowances for night, Sunday and holiday work are paid in advance – as far as your working time is allowed. Our remuneration is clearly above tariff. You will receive two additional days per year, on top to the tariff scheme. For proven voluntary commitment there is another holiday day. Time, Food and Extras You eat and drink almost free of charge – fresh food, fair traded organic coffee, tea, juices and small items from our kitchen. We bear the costs; only the statutory flat-rate tax on the monetary advantage is to be taxed by you. When you first hire with us, you will receive a premium of gross 1000 euros (500 euros after six months, 500 euros after one year of service). If you return to us after a break, we will count on your previous service to the new activity. For your family, relatives and close friends there are generous conditions when You eat or stay with us.
