In this position as a spokesperson for Strategic Policy (m/w/d) Power Plants at RheinEnergie, you play a central role in the strategic development of the production landscape with a special focus on decarbonization and heat transition. You analyse technological, economic and regulatory developments and derive sound basis for the company. In doing so, you combine technical depth with energy-economic understanding and actively shape the future of the power plant and district heating strategy. Your contribution is crucial for the economic, regulatory and sustainable transformation of energy production.

(m/w/d) analyse and evaluate strategic and economic issues relating to production facilities, technologies and plant changes and optimization measures in the power plant sector You assess the cost-effectiveness, sustainability and the impact on decarbonization targets with particular focus on heat generation Development and further development of strategies for optimizing and decarbonizing plant procedures is carried out in close cooperation with the fields of operation and energy use Designing strategically relevant developments to ensure future technologies (including hydrogen) and transforming district heating is your responsibility You evaluate power plant products with regard to market and competitiveness, taking into account changing framework conditions, markets and funding mechanisms incl. This place is remunerated with the remuneration group 13 in accordance with the collective agreement for utilities (TV-V). This corresponds to a gross annual salary of around 77,000 – 107,000 euros (depending on professional experience and qualification).
