Pedagogical Specialist at the Boarding School (m/f/d)

The Deutsche Blindenstudienanstalt e.V. (blista) is an open and inclusive educational and competence centre in the university city of Marburg: With a gymnasium for blind, visually impaired and seeing pupils, training and retraining in IT and commercial professions, a boarding school, a diverse Montessori offer (Kita, primary school, integrated school to class 10) for predominantly seeing children, rehabilitation and many other educational opportunities for adults and children.

The boarding school of the blista is completely decentralized and consists of more than 30 housing groups in which blind and visually impaired children, young people and young adults live in differentiated forms of care.

In order to support our educational team, from 01.08.2026 we are looking for a pedagogical specialist (m/w/d) in the range of 68%.

This is a temporary job, initially until 31.07.2027, with the prospect of further employment, grouped according to TVöD S+E 8b.

Your profile

• Completed educational training (education, social education, etc.)
• Communication and team skills

Tasks

• Support and promotion of blind and visually impaired children, young people and young adults in a stationary group of our internates
• Cooperation in the team and co-design of a value-adding team culture
• Network work with internal departments such as school and rehabilitation department
• Planning, implementation and reflection of educational offers
• Participation in the development of the internate
• Ensuring the protection order
