Data Protection and Legal Advisor (m/f/d)

You are the central contact person for all data protection issues of the university and support the implementation and compliance of the GDPR as well as other data protection regulations. You take over and control the data protection documentation and information requirements and continuously develop the data protection management system of the university. You check processes and facts for data protection compliance and sensitize employees for responsible handling of personal data. You conduct their own projects, in particular as part of the introduction or further development of IT-supported systems, in the field of the Chancellor or the judiciary. You support the judiciary in administrative, labour and contractual matters.

You have successfully completed the first or second legal state exams and have a qualification in official data protection. You bring well-founded knowledge in data protection law as well as a good technical understanding and sound IT skills. You have good knowledge of administrative, civil and labour law. You can easily prepare complex legal questions, communicate clearly and work in the team. Their written and oral expressiveness – in German and English – is very good. Confidential handling of sensitive information is obvious to you.
