Enabler for smaller, more powerful and more energy-efficient microchips

You analyze and optimize adjustment and production processes in the context of electron microscopy with regard to efficiency, quality, process stability and cost-effectiveness

You support production in acute process problems, analyze and/or eliminate systematic vulnerabilities in the process chain and answer the 2nd level support

You identify potentials for the expansion and expansion of continuous statistical process monitoring as well as for the industrialization/automatization of the manufacturing processes

You work as an interface between development and production during the production start of new products, drive the process maturity ahead, take off processes and resources and transfer them to a production process suitable for production

You create work plans, work instructions and process documentation, and take over work preparation activities

You are responsible for projects for the sustainable increase in production capacity as well as for improving process capability and stability

a successfully completed electronic or mechatronic university degree (master degree desirable)

Experience in the field of commissioning, mechanical and electrical adjustment and in the final removal of complex mechatronic systems (ideally of electron microscopes)

Experience in the installation and programming of soft and firmware, as well as the application and correction of adjustment and measurement routines ideally in Matlab, C++ and/or C#

Application experience desirable

pronounced system understanding for complex mechatronic devices and their interactions between mechanics, electronics and software

Experience with the transfer of products from development to the robust small series

knowledge of Lean methods, quality methods and experience in the collaboration and management of optimization projects (8D, 5S, Six Sigma, ...) and ideally in project management and safety

Knowledge in the areas (electrons) optics and simulation as well as experience from activities in cleanliness or cleanroom areas desirable

very good MS office and SAP knowledge

a proactive, reliable and independent way of working as well as a quick understanding with a strong sense of responsibility

proves the urge to stabilize processes and implement them sustainably on the shopfloor

very good English knowledge of word and writing
