Team Leader Material Scheduling & Work Preparation (m/f/d)

In this newly created key role you are part of our order center and clock generator of order processing: You ensure delivery capability, deadline accuracy and production stability, plan realistically, reliably and ensure that customer orders leave the factory on time. You run the work preparation and material disposition teams (approximately 9 colleagues), control the weekly planning and act as the first escalation stage in supply conflicts. Close to day-to-day business, you prioritise bottlenecks, meet fast, pragmatic decisions and connect sales, production and tour planning – objective, clear and solution-oriented.

Team management: You run and develop the teams of work preparation and material disposition (about 9 people). Material disposition: You can secure a stable disposition process – from stocks and orders to complaints. You are an expert contact for the team, supported in decisions and, if necessary, actively participate (e.g. in representations). Work preparation: You ensure a reliable planning and control of production orders, capacities and delivery dates, keeps the production progress in mind and coordinates the coordination between production, sales and logistics. Interfaces & escalation: In the case of supply and appointment conflicts (customers & suppliers), you coordinate the solutions, prioritize together with the specialist areas and as a central interface for clarity and quick decisions. Process optimization: You actively develop processes and interfaces, identify optimization potentials and implement sustainable improvements together with the teams.

Completed technical or commercial training including multi-year professional experience and first leadership experience in the preparation of work, production planning or material disposition of an industrial company from the middle class Studies, e.g. with the focus on production planning or further education, e.g. in the field of REFA, are of advantage Very good ERP / MRP knowledge (e.g. SAP, Infor, Microsoft) as well as safe handling with Excel Organizational and communication talent to keep a cool head even in stressful situations and to make quick, pragmatic decisions Understanding key figures, enjoyment of the original analysis and implementation of improvement measures
