Application Developer (m/w/d) We are looking for the civil engineering office of the state capital of Stuttgart. The body shall be occupied until 31.10.2027. The civil engineering office with its approximately 1,000 dedicated employees is responsible for the planning, construction and operation of the technical infrastructure of the state capital of Stuttgart. In the field of IT, we are advancing digitalization with innovative digital technologies and thus support our colleagues in their daily work. You conduct request analyses and advice from the specialist departments in the context of low-code and other platforms Your tasks include design, development, testing and in-operation guidance of applications Supporting existing applications throughout the life cycle is also one of your tasks You digitize workflows and are responsible for the associated application operation You ensure the development and maintenance of knowledge databases You work with user support, including organisation and implementation of workshops and training You are a contact person for the specialist departments and system suppliers

A completed study (Bachelor) of the Department of Computer Science or a comparable discipline (for foreign degrees, the submission of recognition in Germany is required) Experience in the design, development and implementation of software solutions, ideally in the area of digitization of workflows Experience with low-code platforms Experience in request management Knowledge in IT operations (monitoring, deployment, support processes) Knowledge in SQL, programming and script languages are desirable The ability to work together creatively and cooperatively with different stakeholders An analytical and process-oriented thinking capability with the ability to capture and represent even more complex relationships German knowledge with good expressability in word and writing
