We are looking for an environmental engineer (w/m/d) in Dresden.

That's what you bring

• Completed studies in environmental or natural sciences or comparable engineering studies
• Multiannual experience in environmental protection and environmental management
• Knowledge of technical regulations, directives and laws (BImSchG, TA-Luft, WHG, AWsV, GefStoffV, KrWG)
• Trusted with ISO 14001 for environmental management systems
• Good organization and communication behaviour
• Team-oriented, independent and responsible
• High motivation for environmental protection
• German and good English skills
• Training certificates as commissioner for waste, hazardous goods and/or immission protection (optional)
• Internal auditor according to ISO 14001 (optional)
• knowledge and experience in accident law (optional)

Your new tasks as an environmental engineer

• Monitoring of waste management and hazardous goods transpor
• Storage of raw materials, auxiliary materials and operating materials according to Water Budget Act
• Approval-compliant plant operation with regard to immissions, soil and water protection
• Consulting and training of business units in environmental protection and energy management
• Support with practical solutions
• Participation in development, introduction, control and improvement of environmentally friendly business processes
• cooperation with the authorities and monitoring of notification, approval and approval procedures under environmental law
• Participation in internal and external approaches and audits on HSE topics
• Integration of ISO 14001 requirements into the existing management system
• Working on environmental reporting within the group
• Cooperation with workers in the field of occupational safety, fire protection, hazardous substances, energy and explosion protection
• Cooperation with sustainability managers to provide relevant environmental indicators and information for external stakeholders and sustainability reporting
