Test Engineer Automotive (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

Your responsibilities You take responsibility for the test conception, test specification and execution Test strategies are implemented by you with proven test methods Your test objects include both non-automotives (e.g. heating systems) and automotive (e.g. active brake control/driver assistance systems) You analyze system or software requirements and perform test cases Manual test as well as test automation are carried out by you You evaluate the test results and identify causes of errors *Your participation in the creation and optimization of the test processes is required

Your qualifications:

That's what you bring Must-haves: *Completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or mechatronics

• Basic programming knowledge in C/C++ or Python Experience with Automotive SPICE and the V-model Knowledge in handling test automation tools (e.g. VTestStudio) High understanding and solution-oriented thinking Communication strength and team capacity Very good German skills English knowledge of advantage

Nice to have: Knowledge in power electronics (e.g. inverter, pulse inverter) of advantage experience in the creation of verification criteria for software tests First experience with the Vector tool chain (e.g. CANoe) Experiments with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level Knowledge in functional safety (ISO26262) *experience in the (embedded) software development
