Data Protection & AI Compliance Officer (m/f/d)

Parent responsibilities:

Further development, implementation and monitoring of the data protection management system in close cooperation with the data protection officer* to ensure compliance with data protection regulations (in particular GDPR, BDSG) Conception, development and continuous development of an AI compliance framework with a special focus on the implementation of the AI Regulation (EU‐AI‐Act) and internal guidelines and ethical guidelines Close cooperation with the technical AI governance and other relevant interfaces to fully implement regulatory, technical and organisational requirements for AI systems Support in the planning, implementation and follow-up of data protection and AI compliance audits (including review of the requirements of the AI-VO, such as risk classification, documentation and transparency requirements) Creation and further development of regular management reports on data protection and AI compliance topics, in particular on the implementation of the AI-VO

Operating priorities:

Analysis and evaluation of data processing processes incl. Risk assessment and maintenance of data protection documentation (processing directories, data protection impact assessments) Participation in the evaluation, documentation and risk classification of AI systems and AI applications according to the requirements of the AI-VO, including the implementation and monitoring of the resulting Obligations (e.g. monitoring, logging, transparency) Examination of documents, processes and contracts under data protection and AI compliance aspects (e.g. order processing contracts, data and AI usage agreements, regulations on high risk AI systems) Processing of requests from specialist areas and projects on data protection, AI compliance and the practical implementation of the AI-VOConsult on data protection and AI relevant issues, in particular in digitization, IT and innovation projects, incl. Assessment of the applicability and compliance of the AIVO Conception, planning and implementation of training and awareness-raising measures on data protection, AI compliance and the requirements of the KI‐VO for different target groups

Successfully completed study of law or economics, (economic) informatics or a comparable degree course ideally focusing on data protection or compliance with focus KI in-depth knowledge of data protection law (in particular GDPR) and first practical experience with regulatory requirements for AI, in particular with the European AI Regulation (EU‐AI‐Act) Reliable: knowledge of AI technologies (e.g. machine learning, automated decision-making) and their regulatory and ethical assessment Structured, analytical and result-oriented working methods and entrepreneurial thinking High self-initiative, sense of responsibility and enforcement Impressed communication skills and team spirit, including interdisciplinary and technically shaped project teams Secure handling of MS Office applications as well as affinity for IT and digital tools Good English knowledge of word and writing
