Deputy Head of Service Management (m/f/d)

As Deputy Head of Service Management, you take responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of our clinical IT services together with the Head of Department. You support day-to-day management and actively contribute to the development of service management. Your tasks include: Support team management to ensure a stable, safe and economical operation of clinical applications Responsibility for incident, problem, change and ticket management as well as compliance with service level, quality and process requirements Professional leadership of employees in the field of service management and disciplinary representation of department management Priority of the operating daily business as well as control of escalations and decision-making processes Close cooperation with team management, service owners and department management to ensure smooth IT operation Promoting open, transparent communication and an independent and solution-oriented way of working in the team

Complete study of computer science, business informatics, health informatics, health management or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in the clinical IT environment Multiannual experience in IT service management as well as in operation and further development of ITSM processes Experience in the management of employees or teams as well as in the management of operational IT operations, projects and changes Knowledge of ITIL methods and a strong understanding of clinical processes and their support through IT systems Experience in cooperation with medical departments, care, administration and IT-related organizational units Analytical and structured working methods as well as the ability to make complex facts understandable and make decisions Readiness to travel between the locations Kiel and Lübeck as well as to external customers (Guideline Class B) Representative leadership, communication and decision strength High level of responsibility, reliability and sense of responsibility Organisational skills and a structured and solution-oriented way of working – even in challenging situations Team orientation as well as the ability to motivate and further develop employees Analytical thinking and high service orientation
