These services include network management, out-of-band connectivity, network authentication, monitoring, backups, logging, etc. Our team of highly motivated network experts are looking for an additional Linux system administrator with an affinity for computer networks. As a Linux system engineer in the Shared Network Infrastructure team, you are responsible for the operation, development, implementation and maintenance of the Linux server infrastructure and the shared network infrastructure network. In a culture that attaches great importance to creative ideas, agile working methods, self-initiative and participation, these following tasks await you: Tasks Administration and Troubleshooting of highly available and complex infrastructures including participation in a standby service rotation for server and network failures. Development and optimization of shared network infrastructure Linux systems and virtualization platforms. Evaluation and evaluation of new technologies and products. Conception, construction and further development of CI/CD pipelines and the necessary technical processes. Qualifications You studied computer science or completed a comparable training. You have a strong interest in the topics of computer networking and have the following qualifications: Multiannual experience in the administration of complex Linux systems. A preference for automation with Ansible and Python, instead of doing the same tasks manually again and again. Experiences with technologies such as Proxmox, Docker, Gitlab CI/CD, checkMK are of advantage. As we are you a fan of open source, especially Linux.
