Technical Product and Project Manager Automation & Applied Robotics (m/f/d)

To build robotic solutions at Würth, it is essential to systematically identify relevant fields of application and to develop marketable and scalable products for crafts and SMEs. In this position, you are responsible for the development and further development of robotic solutions over the entire product life cycle - from the analysis of customer needs and the assessment of market potential, the design, development and validation to market launch and series support. You identify and evaluate suitable fields of application for robotic solutions in crafts and small and medium-sized enterprises and analyze the needs of your customers. Market potential, economics, technical feasibility and scalability are the basis for sound product and solution decisions. You independently manage projects over the entire life cycle: from the demand determination and conception, development and piloting to market launch and series support. Customer and market requirements translate into technical concepts and implementable work packages that prioritise and consistently follow. You program and integrate robots independently and take over the construction, commissioning and testing of pilot projects. Plan, accompany and evaluate pilot applications at the customer under real conditions of use and derive improvements for further development. Safety, standards and certification requirements are already taken into account in early project phases. In doing so, you coordinate internal areas, customers and development partners and ensure transparency on progress, schedule, budget, risks and dependencies.

You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering. Also a craft training supplemented by a technician in robot programming qualifies you for this position. You bring several years of professional experience in the development, integration or implementation of robotic solutions. You can program robots and cobots on your own, as well as experience in the construction and commissioning of pilot plants. Knowledge in ROS 2, C++ and Python help you develop and integrate technical solutions. You are familiar with safety, standards and certification requirements in the environment of robotics and machines. You understand customer requirements and practical processes in crafts and small and medium-sized enterprises and take into account these in the development of practical solutions. MS Office and project management tools such as Jira or Confluence will certainly apply. A project management certification is advantageous.
