As a team leader in warehouse logistics, you are responsible for the operational management of your team and the professional management of your employees. Together with the specialists in the department, you are looking for smooth processes in your area. Your work is characterized by a motivating team spirit based on appreciation, respect and openness. Together with your team, you are working on the achievement of day-to-day operational targets as well as improving processes. Guide the employees and specialists of your department professionally and support their development. Give your team the daily operational goals and escalate plan deviations directly to your department management.

Work closely with the team of workflow control and set up personnel resources. Plan the personnel use and create holiday plans to always provide sufficient staff for the expected order volume of our customers.

Be the first contact person for your team and contact your colleagues with empathy. You can balance your role as an employer representative and reference person for your team.

Conflicts simple you routin and bring about sustainable solutions. You motivate and create a positive working environment where your team likes to work and masters its tasks.

Monitor the implementation of health and safety standards and promote this culture on site through their own lives.

Bring your own ideas and accompany process changes positively so that we become even more efficient.

You have good IT skills and implement predefined goals independently. A completed vocational training and the first professional leadership experience of smaller teams complete your profile. With analytical thinking, you remain calm in challenging situations and meet the right decisions. As a leader, you are aware of your role model function and align your daily action with it.

Generally, you understand creating a working environment where your team wants to work and share information, ideas and appreciation.

You have good rhetorical skills and basic knowledge in dealing with conflicts. With your communication strength, you pass your expertise in a comprehensible, sustainable and adapted way to the knowledge level of your colleagues.

Your good knowledge of German on C1 level simplifies communication in the team. Ideally, you have basic English and French skills.

LOCATION: Lahr Our logistics staff ensure that more than 50 million customers in 25 European markets receive smooth and reliable service every day. Zalando today has a growing European logistics network with currently twelve locations in seven countries. In Germany alone, thousands of employees from over 100 nations work at several Zalando logistics locations. The logistics centre in Lahr im Schwarzwald is the youngest of our German locations. The building with an area of 130,000 square meters sets new standards for the industry and combines a new generation of infrastructure with intelligent thinking and a great team combination.
