Heat and energy are our contribution to the quality of life – every day new. As BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we supply the capital with electricity and heat in a climate-friendly manner. Our district heating network is the largest Western Europe with a length of more than 2,000 kilometres. We supply about one third of the Berlin households with heat. With the know-how of our 2,200 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from production to grid operation and expansion to distribution. At high pressure, we work at the coal exit until 2030 and at climate-neutral production from 2045. In this way, we support the Land of Berlin significantly when reaching its climate targets. On the way to this we want to realize a higher proportion of renewable energies and waste heat. To do this, we need to redesign many of our sites and facilities. For the BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we are looking for you as a specialist engineer at Hausstationsbetrieb at the Berlin site in an indefinite position. As a specialist engineer:in house station operation, you support the operating areas, customer management and other specialist departments in ensuring regular and trouble-free operation of district heating systems. Your tasks: Technical support & customer advice for faults, new construction projects and special cases. Planning & organisation of maintenance, refurbishment and testing measures incl. Resources and Material Management. Creation & maintenance of technical documents, guidelines, operating instructions and SAP data. Monitoring and control of subcontractors in terms of quality, costs and appointments. Ensure compliance with work, environmental and safety regulations. Preparation of budget planning, tendering and project voting. Participation in the standby service to ensure security of supply. Implementation of service trips and takeover of special project tasks

Your profile: You have a completed high- or technical college degree in the fields HKLS, utilities, energy technology or equivalent training You have a strong knowledge of district heating systems You have business knowledge You have IT skills in the MS Office and SAP You have first experiences in this area You are characterized by a very good communication and team capability as well as self-employment, self-initiative and enforcement capability In addition, you have a pronounced analytical and structured thinking capability You have fluent German skills in word and writing You are in possession of a valid class B driving licence You meet about 70 percent of the requirements?
