Continuous market observation of national and international procurement markets and identification of savings and optimization potentials Own-responsibility of technical goods and services Conduct Field & Desk Research to Develop New Sources and Markets Selection, qualification, support and evaluation of suppliers Acquisition and comparison of offers and high-price and contract negotiations on framework contracts, conditions and delivery conditions Annual talks, escalation management and monitoring of relevant KPIs Ensure uninterrupted material availability in close coordination with production, quality assurance, SCM and technology Active participation in the further development of purchasing processes, product group strategies and supplier portfolios Implementation of purchasing strategies in the team including targeted cooperation with stakeholders

Closed commercial training (e.g. industrial businessman/wife) with a specialist training (e.g. technical businessman, specialist businessman/wife purchasing/logistics or comparable) Multiannual professional experience in technical purchasing desirable, ideally in the steel, metal or process industry – knowledge of material disposition and management as well as experience in handling technical drawings and specifications Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and Power Point Secure handling of SAP (R/3, S/4, MM, ideal SAP R16) Good English knowledge of word and writing Enforcement, negotiation skills and solution-oriented thinking Communication strength and sovereign occurrence High ownership, structured work
