Our IT is the backbone of Kabs: 14 furniture stores, administration, logistics and online store need to work stable, safe and reliable every day. We are looking for an experienced senior IT system administrator (m/w/d) infrastructure and security that not only processes tickets but understands, stabilizes and actively develops our IT landscape. We do not expect anonymous Group IT, but a medium-sized company with short paths, real decisions and a lot of design space.

You continue to operate and develop our IT infrastructure – from servers and clients to networks, WLAN, VPN and firewalls. You provide stable, safe and traceable systems at our locations. Complex disorders Analyze structured and find sustainable solutions. You support IT security, backup, monitoring, patch management and access concepts. Together with external IT service providers, you work out technical solutions and evaluate them professionally. Optimization potentials can be recognized at an early stage and introduce modern, pragmatic solutions. You document systems and processes in such a way that knowledge remains in the company in the long term.

Multiannual experience as an IT system administrator (m/w/d), system engineer, network administrator (m/w/d) or specialist (m/w/d) system integration. Good knowledge of Windows server and Microsoft environments. Experience with networks, firewalls, VPN, routing, WLAN and typical infrastructure posts. Understanding IT security, backup, monitoring and clean operating processes. Safe handling of consoles and graphic surfaces. Experience with PowerShell, Bash or comparable scripting is advantageous. Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V or comparable platforms) is advantageous. Experiences with cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS) – e.g. Microsoft Azure or AWS – are desirable. You work independently, structured and solution-oriented. You don't just want to manage things, you really want to understand and do better.
