As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. Together with us, you are worried about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. Senior IT Expert Military IT (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Hannover, Lohheide or Munster. The “International, Mission & Training” (IM&T) department is close to the Bundeswehr and supports exercises and operations at the tactical and operative level. In addition to consulting, development and support for individual IT solution approaches of specific military projects, we offer the Bundeswehr expertise in the field of IT that is near-use.

Technical advice and coordination with the participating project areas of the Bundeswehr, the BWI projects and the contracting authority of the Bundeswehr Planning and support of IT support for the Bundeswehr on site in exercises, equivalent obligations and operations in Germany and abroad Instructions for IT specialists from the Bundeswehr as part of the deployment preparation at the IT training center of the Bundeswehr in Lohheide and also on site at the service, training and deployment sites of the Bundeswehr Cooperation and regular exchange with architectural and product managers to take account of practical aspects in the development

Completed training or studies in the IT environment About four years of professional experience in radio planning and measurement technology including encrypted radio technology Experience with tactical communication systems of the Bundeswehr and military task structures Knowledge of architecture requirements of the BWI, Bundeswehr (ADMBw) and NATO (NAF) as well as experiences in Bundeswehr or NATO projects Very good understanding and enthusiasm for radio and telecommunications technology, knowledge in the field of military communications technology Embossed communication skills and pleasure in direct customer contact Federally readiness to travel for usually one week missions and driving licence of class B Very good knowledge of German and English
