Senior VAVE Electronics Engineer

As VAVE Electronics Engineer (m/w/d), you are actively developing our electronic products. You drive Value Analysis & Value Engineering (VAVE) activities forward, identify optimization potentials and develop sustainable solutions for cost reduction, quality improvement and production capability. You work closely with international teams from Electronics Engineering, Component Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing and contribute directly to the competitiveness of our products. A job that counts: your tasks Identification and implementation of VAVE and cost reduction initiatives for electronic assemblies Analysis and optimization of existing designs at schematic and PCB level Development and evaluation of technical optimizations taking into account costs, quality, reliability and manufacturing Assessment of technical risks and development of appropriate risk mitigation measures Coordination and approval of design and component changes with relevant stakeholders Support for obsolescence management, lifecycle management and second-source strategies Cooperation with internal departments and suppliers to implement sustainable improvements Tracing and communication of savings, progress and results Ensuring production capacity and compliance with technical requirements Experience that counts: Your skills Completed studies in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable qualification 5-8 years of professional experience in electronics development, product optimization or a comparable technical environment Practical experience with Altium Designer as well as the analysis of electronic circuits and PCB layouts Experience in implementing cost reduction projects and technical change processes Understanding Manufacturing Processes, Component Management and Product Life Cycles Analytical, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Communication strength and experience in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams and international stakeholders A workplace that counts: Our offer Best opportunities in a globally active group with the culture of a family business Very good internal development possibilities Attractive salary package with tariff framework conditions Hybrid working model and flexible working hours Occupational pension, company fitness with Hansefit External employee advice in all situations
