The AWO specialist hospital Jerichow is a center of modern treatments, which has grown in over 110 years of tradition, in which the specialist departments of psychiatry, psychotherapy, psychosomatic medicine and pain therapy mutually positively influence each other. The specialist clinic has 170 fully-stationary beds, 80 day-clinical treatment sites as well as a psychiatric hospital. In addition, we treat semi-stationary and outpatient (PIA) at the sites Burg, Havelberg and Gommern. There is a supply obligation for the district of Jerichower Land and for the eastern region of the district of Stendal. Our patient catchment area ranges from the capital of Magdeburg to the Hansestadt Havelberg to Brandenburg and in some special offers also beyond. With around 300 employees, we provide approx. 2,800 stationary and semi-stationary as well as 2,000 outpatient patients.
