Specialist Engineer Structural Engineering Tender (m/f/d)

Responsibility for key topics in bridge and engineering, including cooperation in national specialist bodies (including FGSV), examination and approval of building documents according to § 4 FStrG and evaluation of building quality and performance of damage and deficiencies analyses. Management and control of one or more specialist groups within the Autobahn GmbH and active participation in nationwide working groups (including KoA Bau/BEM‐ING or KoA Conservation). Technical evaluation of innovations in bridge and engineering construction, preparation and updating of federal regulations and technical examination, documentation and evaluation of individual approvals (ZiE). Compilation of reports on the work of bodies and technical support of research projects of the Federal Institute for Road Transport (BASt). Responsibility for the technical examination and approval of bridge projects including consulting of branches, ensuring the conformity of planning and construction, monitoring of the projects according to § 4 FStrG as well as close exchange and active participation in project discussions with BMDV and FBA. Technical advice of the branches in all questions of bridge planning and construction design, as well as implementation of construction site visits including damage and deficiencies analyses.

Successfully completed academic studies in the field of civil engineering, transport engineering or comparable qualification, expertise and experience. Long-term acquired professional experience in bridge construction companies, engineering offices or in road construction administration with infrastructure projects and well-founded expertise in the above-mentioned area of responsibility or comparable organisations. Safe application of technical regulations and knowledge of building contract law and the remuneration of architects and engineers (HOAI). Practical experience in the planning of engineering structures and in the invitation to tender. Very good knowledge of German in word and writing. Funded knowledge with modern office applications and SAP. Your personal strengths include: Ability to control complex projects and manage escalation situations.
