Working Student for Optimization PCS

You support the optimization and orchestration of PCS (platform container service) updates across multiple domains focusing on stable and scalable deployments In addition, you support the planning, automation and implementation of PCS updates along modern CI/CD pipelines (Kubernetes, Spring, JBoss etc.) by automation (e.g. Renovate, Unix Shell Scripting) You build a self-organized, cross-functional setup to continuously optimize platform and container services in the cloud-based Kubernetes environment You also use OpenRewrite, AI-based tools and automation solutions for refactoring, modernization and AI-based error analysis (GitHub Copilot, Instana, Kibana) In addition, you help in the further development of test automation (JUnit, REST Assured, Selenide) Ensuring faster and safe releases is part of your tasks

You are a enrolled student* in Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable degree programme You bring experience in software development with Java and modern frameworks such as JBoss, Spring Boot, Lombok, Vue.js and OpenAPI as well as platform and container technologies such as Kubernetes with In addition, you bring enthusiasm for process optimization and the sensible use of AI in the dev context (e.g. code analysis, refactoring, test generation) with You have the desire for a long-term setup with design playroom and responsibility In addition, you have already gained first experiences with CI/CD and automated workflows (Maven, Jenkins) as well as in test automation and have a pronounced quality minimum set You are also passionate about process optimization and the use of AI in the development context (e.g. code analysis, refactoring) and wish you a long-term work environment with design space and responsibility
