The Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH applies cutting-edge methods and modern techniques in the field of digital architecture for the development of our military land vehicles. The EDA department analyzes, specifies and designs electrical and electronic components of our tactical vehicles based on features & functions to achieve maximum modular scalable system development. As a system of engineering electrical/electronics, you are active at both system level and sub-system level of the entire vehicle. Comprehensive evaluation, detailed analysis and preparation of precise technical specifications in the field of electromagnetic fields (EMF) at all system levels, from the overall system to subsystems and assemblies Systematic identification and sound processing of relevant customer requirements, international standards and regulations in the field of EMF and their targeted integration into the development process Conception, development and implementation of innovative measures to optimize electromagnetic compatibility and ensure regulatory compliance Creation, maintenance and continuous development of verification and test documents Conduct and active participation in interdisciplinary design and development reviews for quality assurance and technical validation of complex system solutions Development of sophisticated antenna concepts and effective flash protection solutions Close cooperation and coordination with various departments as well as strategic partners and external experts Technical management and support in the commissioning of prototypes and complex radio systems, including analysis, testing and validation The place can be occupied in Kiel, Kassel or Unterlüß.

Successfully completed (specialized) high school studies focusing on communication technology, high-frequency technology or a related discipline with specialization in electromagnetic fields and waves Multiannual, relevant professional experience in the field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMV) and electromagnetic fields (EMF) in demanding system or development projects Excellent knowledge in the application and configuration of tools such as DOORS and MS Office Experience with CST Studio Suite and MATLAB to simulate and analyze electromagnetic effects desirable Intensified experience in system development according to V-model as well as the application of military and/or automotive standards and specifications Analytical thinking, high problem-solving competence and the ability to implement complex, interdisciplinary projects in a targeted manner Impressed communication and team capacity for efficient cooperation with internal and external stakeholders Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
