IT Architecture Specialist for EAM & Service Portfolio Management (m/f/d)

Your mission: Developing and implementing architectures and target images You support the art and music colleges to gradually align their IT landscapes with common IT base services and future cloud services. To do this, you will first see how the IT landscapes of universities look today: what systems and dependencies are there? What similarities and differences exist? What local peculiarities and growing cooperation must be taken into account?

On this basis, you develop a resilient target for your future IT landscape together with the universities. This is not about a uniform target for his own sake, but about sustainable perspectives and coordinated paths there. For each university, the path can look different – the common goal and the long-term perspective on standards, common services and greater use of central services remain in sight. A special focus of your activity is on preparing and accompanying the path to the HITS MultiCloud. Developing architecture with HITS Together with HITS.NRW and the architects of other universities, you work to make the possibilities of the MultiCloud and other central IT services effective and integrate them into existing IT landscapes. In doing so, you will introduce the requirements and common positions of the art and music colleges, and professionally participate in sustainable solutions and architectures. Making transformation together You accompany the universities in the technical and organizational transformation of their IT landscapes – initially with a special focus on the way to the HITS MultiCloud. You evaluate existing systems and their dependencies, develop meaningful migration and modernization paths together with the IT teams and identify technical, organizational and professional requirements. You can see where individual solutions are useful, where consolidation or common solutions create benefits and what skills have to be built up. Operating support for IT departments You do not stand with concepts, but also support the local IT departments in concrete implementation, such as migrations, consolidations, piloting and building necessary skills. Our goal is to significantly relieve local IT departments in the transformation process and to implement sustainable solutions together with them. Service portfolio With the development of joint IT services, you will also develop the comprehensive service portfolio together with the team. You test the existing and emerging offers, arrange them in the target architectures of the universities and identify needs, gaps and possible new joint services together with the participants.

Your profile: strong architect, convincing communicative We are looking for a personality who has the pleasure of understanding complex IT landscapes, making visible and developing them together with different people. Your foundation A completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable subject or equivalent qualification through multiannual relevant professional experience. Your experience You have practical experience in IT architecture, enterprise architecture or planning and implementing complex IT transformations. Ideally, you have already gained experience with the structured recording and visualization of IT landscapes, the development of target architectures and transformation paths, cloud architectures and cloud migrations, IT infrastructures, networks and modern security concepts, virtualization and ideally container technologies, architectural or EAM tools such as ADOIT or comparable solutions, and IT service management and service portfolio management. Experience in university IT or in the public sector is beneficial. Your work You analyze complex IT landscapes structured and can represent technical relationships in such a way that joint decisions are made. You combine the view for the whole with a pronounced pragmatism and do not lose sight of the concrete feasibility even in complex transformation projects. You can develop, represent and make independent decisions within a coordinated framework. Your mindset You encounter different starting points with openness and respect. You don't understand standardization as a goal for your own sake, but as a way to better quality, economy and a common ability to act. You know that change takes time and that not every college can go the same way at the same time. At the same time, you always have the common perspective in mind and, through transparency, knowledge and good solutions, create the conditions for gradually increasing commonness from different starting points. You are happy to take people, share knowledge and advance the digitalization of art and music colleges together with others.

Design playroom: You work at an interface where architecture is not only documented, but is actually designed together with HITS.NRW and universities.
