The CJD is one of the largest educational and social enterprises in Germany. Its approximately 11,000 employees support and support children, young people and adults at more than 350 locations in Kitas, schools, vocational education and training plants, in clinics, rehabilitation facilities, housing groups and workshops. At the Altensteig CJD site, we serve up to 27 young people from ten years of age who cannot live in their family environment in the short or long term due to mental illnesses. In three stationary housing groups according to §§ 34, 35a and 41 SGB VIII we create a structured and resource-oriented environment. The focus is on personality disorders (in particular Borderline), psychosis and bond disorders. Through the close interconnection of housing, individual training and psychotherapeutic support, we promote stability, development and new life perspectives. As a replacement for our previous buildings, we plan a new building in Altensteig for our residential groups and the administration.
