JumpStart Program for Computer Science Graduates (m/f/d)

JumpStart-Programm für Informatik-Absolvent:innen (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) Developing good software makes a real mood. Even if the software was developed using AI? How can the result and software quality be evaluated and how can AI help implement it? This is exactly what our job as Software Quality Engineer is: We check the quality of software and find possible errors. We are about 400 IT specialists: in six locations in Germany and three branches abroad. For our professional entry program JumpStart we are looking for motivated graduates as of 1 November 2026:in computer science or comparable disciplines. A constructive and responsible approach to artificial intelligence is just as happy as a critical look at it.

In an agile project you will experience the development of complex software and gain first practical project experience. You get to know current development practices, architectural principles and modern tool chains and use them in the project context. You work intensively with methods of software quality assurance and software testing and learn to use them specifically. You will also learn how to optimize quality assurance by automation and the use of AI. Another focus is on AI-based risk analyses: you learn how AI can help identify risks and derive requirements for applications that are subsequently implemented and tested. You work closely with our specialist: women from quality assurance, security and AI.

A completed study of computer science or a comparable qualification, ideally with above-average success, forms your technical basis. You have sound programming skills in an object-oriented language (e.g. Python, C# or Java). A strong quality awareness is of course for you: quality is more than working software for you. You are important that applications work reliably and safely. You are already familiar with software tests, especially with Unittests. You know the basic functioning of AI and already have practical experience in their use. Openness, curiosity and joy in new challenges characterize you. You speak very well German (at least European level of competence C1) and good English (at least European level of competence B2).
