The teaching and experimental center of Liningkamp with its currently approx. 65 employees are the establishment for animal production and agricultural construction within the Schleswig-Holstein Farm Chamber. The provision of extensive, future-oriented cattle and pig farming, as well as the maintenance of a construction and energy exhibition, enables the numerous tasks to be fulfilled in agricultural education, experimental, advisory and public relations. The dairy farm at the feed camp site holds 200 lactating dairy cows with female rearing. Equipped with 4 automatic milking systems, the position of the milking herd is increasingly more animal-friendly and is constantly modernised. The dairy cows are all equipped with different sensor technology and are regularly part of feed requests to test new feed. In addition, extensive scientific projects are being carried out at the feed camp site, offering the opportunity to participate in the development of management strategies and the further development of technology.
