Your main tasks include the development of system architectures for future and competitive systems for aerospace. To do this, analyse and define the requirements, check the technical feasibility, identify the components to be tested and determine the relevant criteria for product approval. Also create the technical concepts for the systems, define the interfaces and support system integration. They define and check the specifications and certification documents and support the development process. Your area of responsibility is the planning and commissioning of qualification tests and the creation of technical documents. Your technical understanding allows you to further optimize and integrate complex systems. You identify, analyze and solve problems that occur proactively by effectively communicating with external customers and suppliers within an interdisciplinary team and coordinating the relevant activities.

They have successfully completed an engineering study in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace, or comparable training and bring experience in the design and development of aircraft systems. Ideally, you have comprehensive knowledge in handling and creating specifications, e.g. with the DOORS tool. Your distinctive organizational design allows you to look beyond the rim of the plate and to work independently on different processes parallel. You can also gain first experience in the area of change and configuration management. Knowledge of airborne training guidelines (e.g. RTCA DO-160, DO-254) are of advantage. Good teamwork and communication skills in German and English complete your profile.
