That makes this job interesting for me: The project portfolio management department at 50Hertz combines strategic investment planning with the operational control of a versatile and dynamic portfolio of infrastructure projects. For optimal investment decisions – in line with the Elia Group strategy – the collection and combination of data from different disciplines and systems is necessary. As an employee in the team of strategic portfolio management, I am overriding the responsibility for individual sub-processes of investment planning. As a contact person, in particular for procurement planning, I am a knowledge provider with respect to the team and form the interface to other specialist areas in the company. I introduce my know-how in the design of processes, evaluation of different data sources into decision-making across teams and areas. I thus contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of 50Hertz and the economic success. I like to work in new tasks and problems again and again, using my existing skills and continuously develop my knowledge. My tasks: support and further development of processes in portfolio management, in particular procurement planning, interface function to other specialist areas in the company, e.g. purchasing, regulation, project areas, implementation and further development of portfolio reporting, presentation of the results within the team and to different stakeholders in the company, Development and implementation of solutions to improve the processes and systems in portfolio management.

Master or Diploma completed studies of a suitable subject (e.g. engineering, business management, industrial engineering or similar), experiences in data analysis, visualization and processing and associated common tools (e.g. PowerBI and Excel), experienced handling of Microsoft 365 family products, analytic and strategic thinking and good communication skills, team skills and a high degree of self-employment and self-initiative, Languages: German knowledge (C1) and very good English knowledge (B2).
