Unit Lead SAP Operations (m/f/d)

In doing so, you run the SAP Operations Unit, control KPIs, budget and resources, work closely with internal teams and partners, secure security and compliance, and support Presales as well as the transition of new managed services.

Responsible for SAP operation (Run) Total responsibility for the smooth, safe and performant technical operation of the supervised SAP systems and services with the aim of maximum customer satisfaction Establishment and monitoring of KPIs (availability, performance, ticket volumes, SLA performance) Ensure that projects (from the build team) will be passed operations-ready (document, monitoring setup, automation, runbooks) Responsibility for building and using monitoring, security and automation solutions Budget and resource responsibility for the unit (costs, capacities, utilisation) Participation in strategic architecture and portfolio decisions with other units

Leadership of the roles in the SAP Operations Unit Professional and possibly disciplinary leadership of the SAP Operations Unit in an international team Promoting knowledge sharing and knowledge documentation within the unit

Interface and Stakeholder Management Ensuring cooperation with the Plan/Build team in architectural specifications, security and authorization concepts as well as integration and FIORI strategy Close coordination with the AMS unitlead for seamless interaction of application support and technical operation (e.g. for releases, projects, hypercare) Central contact person for customers together with the service management in business questions (in escalations, optimizations) Ensuring & maintaining supplier relationship in cooperation with Scheer Partner Management (Microsoft, SAP, ...)

Quality, safety and compliance management Responsibility for compliance with security, compliance and audit requirements in technical operation Ensuring the implementation of domain-wide standards and guidelines (e.g. architecture and operating standards, backup/recovery, patch and security strategies) Initiation and control of continuous improvisation measures (process optimization, automation, standardization)

Presales Support Presales support for offering and transition phases for new managed services customers (manageability, effort, operating model)

Deep understanding of SAP architectures, operational and security concepts, monitoring, automation and transfer of projects into stable operation (Ops-Readiness) Multiannual experience in SAP technical operation (Run) of complex SAP system landscapes (MS Azure, (SAP) cloud) including responsibility for availability, performance and security Experience in budget, resource and capacity planning and the construction and control of KPIs and SLA-based operating models High quality, compliance and continuous improvisation focus with experience in standardization, process optimization and audit requirements Embossed stakeholder and customer orientation with experience in escalation management, in collaboration with build/AMS teams and in presales support for managed services Founded leadership experience in international teams as well as a strong ability to professional and possibly disciplinary leadership of SAP operations roles
