Your duties

• Manufacture and processing of solid wood components, wood materials, plastics and aluminium on standard wood processing machines
• Finishing, fitting and installation of protective covers and Provisional (by size and local conditions)
• Support of assembly teams on board
• for the installation of furniture, wall coverings, substructures and other equipment
• Cross-trade cooperation with other professional groups
• Work according to drawings, lists and work plans (usually digitally provided)
• compliance with safety regulations, quality guidelines and instructions
• Flexible use between workshop and on-board assembly and different materials and machines
• Acquisition of auxiliary activities in other trades (e.g. castles, sheet metal)

Your profile

• Complete vocational training as wood mechanics or carpenters
• Multiannual professional experience, ideal in the shipyard area or submarine building
• Secure craft skills (e.g. drilling, grinding, aligning, drawing, measuring)
• Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D drawings
• Experience in handling digital devices
• (e.g. tablets, digital work documents)
• Self-working of demanding specialist tasks within the prescribed framework
• Teamability, flexibility and willingness to change site and material
