Team Manager Supply Chain & Logistics (m/f/d)

You assume the overall responsibility for controlling and developing the logistics, supply chain and procurement of a production unit and ensure efficient, economical and reliable supply of production You design and optimize internal and external material and goods flows along the entire value chain and ensure smooth operations at the interfaces between market, production and logistics You control stocks, resources and costs on the basis of relevant key figures, develop existing control instruments and create transparency in terms of delivery capacity, security of supply and economy You are responsible for the procurement of relevant material groups, develop supplier relations strategically and conduct tendering and negotiation processes targeted to success You drive forward the continuous optimization and digitization of supply chain and logistics processes and use modern systems and methods to increase efficiency, data quality and process security You continue to guide and develop your team professionally and disciplinaryly and create the conditions for effective, cross-disciplinary cooperation

You have completed your studies in the field of business management, economic engineering, supply chain management or logistics or on a comparable qualification with corresponding practical experience You bring together several years of professional experience in the field of logistics, supply chain or procurement of a producing company and have sound knowledge along internal and external flows of goods and materials You have already gained first leadership experience or have coordinated teams professionally and understand how to motivate, develop and align employees with common goals Entrepreneurial thinking forms the basis of your action, and you are able to fully evaluate and implement operational requirements, economic relationships and long-term optimization potentials You convince by a structured, solution-oriented and pragmatic way of working and by the willingness to actively shape processes, to drive changes and take responsibility You have fluent German and very good English skills in word and writing and are safe in handling ERP systems, key figures and digital tools
