IT Systems Architect / Senior IT Consultant – Infrastructure and Managed Services (m/f/d)

In order to support our team in Ingelheim, we are looking for an IT Systems Architect / Senior IT Consultant (all genders), who considers customer environments holistically, develops technical concepts and independently accompanies projects from request intake to implementation. In this role, you address customers from different industries, analyze existing IT landscapes and develop viable solutions around servers, client / workplace, network, security, virtualization, cloud and managed services. Analysis of existing IT landscapes of our customers and identification of optimization, modernization and automation potentials Development of holistic technical concepts for customer environments – from server and client infrastructures to network, security and virtualization to cloud and managed services solutions Recording technical and technical requirements, translation into implementable solution concepts and accompanying customer projects from consulting to implementation Assessment of new technologies and solutions for practicality, safety, scalability, operational capability and customer benefits Control and coordination of internal technical teams, external partners and customer contact partners within demanding IT projects Support for migration, modernisation, operational concepts and the introduction of new systems Developing standards, best practices and documentation for recurring customer solutions and managed services scenarios Support of presales and supply processes through technical assessments, solution sketches and cost estimates

You have a completed training, a study in the IT field or a comparable qualification – our practical experience is more important. You are technically broad and well-known in several of the following areas: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Client/Endpoint Management, Virtualization, Network, Firewall, Storage, Backup, Security or Linux. You can accommodate customer requirements, structure technical solutions and explain them intelligibly – both to technical teams and decision-makers. You have experience in designing and implementing IT projects, migrations or modernizations. You work independently, take responsibility for customers, orders or subprojects and keep an overview in complex environments. You have a good understanding of secure, stable and manageable IT solutions.
