We work on a demanding enterprise migration project: historically grown products are gradually transferred from monolithic legacy structures to modern target structures. Our goal is to make Agentic Engineering practically usable – with small, concrete slices that relieve teams under high delivery pressure. You work with colleagues from architecture, software development and enablement. You bring real team tickets, existing code bases and AI-based development tools such as GitHub Copilot, SpecKit, Product Memory or comparable tools into concrete experiments. Many speak of “Homeoffice” – we of “hybrid or mobile work”: You can work remotely up to 50% of your monthly working hours. Our teams, together with their leadership, decide how to balance out local time and mobile work.

You are looking for existing Kanban tickets and team topics, structuring them and identifying suitable topics for small agentic engineering slices. Together with experienced colleagues, you prepare specific work packages for experiments with AI-based development tools. You accompany first experiments with GitHub Copilot, SpecKit, Product Memory or comparable tools in real team contexts. You document observations, challenges and learning outcomes so that You can be used for other teams. You develop simple templates, checklists and enablement materials that support teams in the introduction of Agentic Engineering. Must-have: You are a enrolled student*in in the field of computer science or in a comparable degree course or you are in your Gap Year between Bachelor and Master. You can now support us for 3 to 6 months. You have first practical experience with software development as well as Git and GitHub. Of course, you use AI tools for tasks and processes in your field. Your language level: German C1 (skilled language use) and English B2 (self-employed language use). Nice-to-have: You already have experience with Java/Kotlin, Python or SQL. You are familiar with Docker, Dev Containers or CI/CD. You are not a stranger to work with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or comparable Coding Agents. You have gained first knowledge with larger code bases, refactoring or software architecture. You can also be available for longer than 6 months?
