Our search team is part of the AI Forge and develops the central search platform of CHECK24. We combine intelligent search and ranking methods with modern frontend development and high-performance backend architecture. We work closely with our product and AI teams to create both AI-based features and intuitive, fast user interfaces that provide customers with an outstanding search experience.

For further development of our technology team, we are looking for you as a team leader (m/w/d) Fullstack Software Development Search & AI Services, with responsibility for smart, scalable solutions – from architecture to front end to live operation – and the goal of making the search even faster, more relevant and user-friendly at CHECK24.

Technical direction: You take responsibility for architecture, code quality and stable operation of our search systems Developing search stack: Together with your team, you develop scalable, high-performance solutions around our search API, service MCPs and frontends – from architecture to go-live Optimize Frontend & User Experience: Our React-based Frontends provide you with high performance, user-friendly and seamless integration into the backend systems Promoting technological development: New approaches, tools and frameworks You identify, evaluate your potential and successfully bring innovative solutions to production Interface work: You work closely with product management, BI-/ML team and CHECK24 product teams to create a consistent user experience Team Leadership & Culture: The strategic and operational leadership of your team takes you independently and actively promotes it through coaching, feedback and personal development

Full Stack Expertise: You have sound knowledge in the frontend (React, JavaScript) as well as solid experience in at least one backend language (e.g. PHP, Golang, Python). Modern frameworks, high-performance architectures and clean deployment are of course yours Leadership experience: You guide experienced developers with a clear focus – motivate, set priorities and actively contribute to your development Architecture & scaling: Experiences with complex systems, APIs and performant applications DevOps confession: You're sure to go with CI/CD processes, monitoring, security, and cloud and on-prem infrastructures Communication & Ownership: A close coordination with product management and ML team and strong self-responsibility are your strengths Language skills: Very good knowledge of German (C1/C2) and good knowledge of English complete your profile
