Market Development Manager Packaging (m/f/d)

Responsibility for global market development in primary packaging and food processing, including strategy, implementation and success measurement Customer visits and project management to support international subsidiaries in the relevant market Development and implementation of Go-to-Market strategies for applications in the packaging and food industry Development of KPIs to control global sales activities in the corresponding market Analysis of market trends, competitive environment and customer needs along the value chain of food processing and primary packaging to identify growth opportunities Building and maintaining long-term business relationships with strategic partners, customers and stakeholders, such as mechanical engineers (OEMs) and end users in the industry Cooperation with the 6 global sales regions, product management and marketing to build industry-specific market know-how Creation and presentation of market analyses, business cases and decision bases for management Participation in trade fairs, conferences and industry events to promote our solutions for packaging and food applications and to increase brand awareness

Complete studies in the field of economic engineering, business management, mechanical engineering, food technology or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in business development or sales, ideally in mechanical engineering or in the context of the packaging and food industry Knowledge of the primary packaging and food processing industry and technical understanding of the relevant processes and applications desirable Analytical skills and experience in managing market data to make sound business decisions Representative communication, negotiation and presentation skills Self-employed, earnings-oriented working with entrepreneurial thinking German and English skills readiness for international missions
