Acquisition Manager (Deals & Transactions) (m/f/d)

In the DACH region (Germany/Austria/Switzerland), we are currently represented with more than 100 clinics and practices. The region is characterized by a high degree of dynamics and we are constantly expanding our group.

Your role In this role, you work closely with the teams from Acquisition Finance and M&A and support the successful implementation of corporate acquisitions in line with the group-wide policies and standards. You make an important contribution to the “Acquire, Build and Create” growth strategy by conducting financial due diligence checks, identifying potential risks and opportunities and creating sound basis for investment decisions.

Analysis of financial data and corporate key figures to support acquisition and investment decisions. Creating meaningful management and investment documents, including the summary of transactions, key findings and investment logic for decision-making bodies. Identification, assessment and communication of risks, opportunities and value drivers in the context of acquisition projects. Control of transaction schedules and coordination of cooperation with internal and external stakeholders to successfully implement acquisitions. Processing and communication of relevant financial indicators, valuation multipliers, risks and recommendations for action for different decision-makers. Documentation and escalation of essential financial, fiscal and legal issues identified in the context of transactions. Ensure proper governance and compliance with internal control and audit processes. Support for further strategic projects and initiatives in the field of M&A and corporate acquisitions.

Successfully completed studies of business management, economics, finances or a comparable degree programme as well as a completed auditor, tax advisor or comparable accounting/finance qualification. The ability to create reports and presentations in English and to communicate safely with international stakeholders. Impressed communication skills as well as the ability to work with entrepreneurs and practice owners without a profound financial understanding as well as experienced finance and M&A experts at eye level. Multiannual professional experience in Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence, Corporate Finance or M&A, ideally acquired in a leading audit or consulting company (e.g. Big Four or Top 10). Very good knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Sovereign appearance as well as the ability to present and represent analytical results, risks and recommendations for action against different stakeholders. Embossed analytical skills, high detail accuracy and the ability to deliver high-quality results efficiently and on time. High level of initiative, self-organization and sense of responsibility as well as the ability to successfully manage several projects and priorities at the same time. Experience with Power BI, data visualization or financial modeling is advantageous, but no requirement.
