Your tasks

Support in the production of technical documentation for certification and authorization processes (e.g. conformity reports, risk analyses, security certificates)

• With the help of the EC verification process, including the collection of evidence for notified bodies (NoBo) and designated bodies (DeBo)

• Progress tracking of system approvals and ensuring the timely submission of all necessary documentation

• Support for the analysis of relevant European railway regulations (e.g. TSI, ECM, EN50126/8/9, CSM-RA) under the guidance of experienced colleagues

• Participation in the creation of certification plans and monitoring compliance with applicable standards

• Maintenance of structured and current certification records to support audits and conformity assessments

• Using the review and organisation of test results to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Cooperation with other teams (e.g. technology, quality, safety) to collect relevant data for certification

• Support in the interaction with NoBo, National Security Authorities (NSA) and Evaluation Bodies (AsBo) by preparing meeting documents and documentation

• Participation in project meetings and notes on important compliance-related discussions

• Support in response to requests from regulatory authorities in connection with certification processes

• Help with the organisation and coordination of homologation tests

• Preparation of test reports and compliance checklists

• Ensure that all test results are documented correctly and stored for regulatory submissions

• Continuous training on changes in railway certification standards and authorization processes

• Support for internal training on certification issues

Your qualifications

Interest in the railway industry and curiosity for regulatory requirements

• Experience with requirement management tools (e.g. DOORS)

• Very good documentation, reporting and project management skills

• General knowledge of functional safety and validation

• Confidence with European rail standards (TSI, EN [for telephone number see the original ad], ECM specifications, ISO 17065, ISO 9001)

• Ability to communicate and cooperate with several stakeholders

• Knowledge of the certification process in the railway sector (NoBo/DeBo/AsBo)
