For our modern and innovative location in Stuttgart we are looking for an intern (m/w/d). Allianz Investment Management (AIM) is responsible for Allianz's insurance portfolios with a volume of more than 750 billion. EUR. We develop, manage and implement the investment strategy for Allianz' policyholders worldwide - sustainably and responsibly. Our global network of more than 500 employees from over 60 countries is organized in regional centers in Munich/Stuttgart, Milan, Minneapolis, Paris and Singapore. The Investment Management Life/Health Germany team in Stuttgart is responsible for the investment strategy of the German life and health insurance portfolios. As part of the Investment Analytics and Sustainability Team, your tasks include the analysis of global financial markets and macroeconomic developments, performance calculation and reporting, as well as further development of analytical tools and processes that improve investment and sustainability data quality.

This is what we expect as an intern at Investment Analytics and Sustainability (m/w/d)

In Investment Analytics and Sustainability, you will learn about Allianz Investment Management SE's capital investment process and gain insight into the structures of investment portfolios of different companies.

To do this, you perform tasks in the following areas:

Portfolio and performance analyses Analysis of global financial markets and macroeconomic developments Capital investment control Risk controlling Analysis of sustainability data

To perform these tasks, you will be involved in capital market information systems such as Bloomberg and EIKON. You will also get to know various internal investment database systems. You have the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge in VBA programming and with Power BI to automate these tasks.

As an intern at Investment Analytics and Sustainability (m/w/d)

Economic or mathematical studies, ideally focusing on finance Joy in dealing with numbers Interest in capital markets Secure handling of MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word) Experience with the programming of macros using VBA or with Power BI Good English knowledge of word and writing Fun on team work Openness for creative and innovative solutions as well as joy in dealing with pioneering technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal chatGPT
