Number: MER00040ST Our area IT MBC (Mercedes-Benz Cars) Operations is responsible for the IT system landscape, which the logistics as well as the production of vehicles, engines and transmissions in all Mercedes-Benz AG plants to be used. Our department (IT4SC) looks at the global, internal and cross-works Logistics processes and designs and operates the IT landscape.

Configuring the global outbound logistics processes of the automotive industry

Support for digitalization and further development of outbound logistics processes

Special focus on global shipping within the outbound logistics

Analysis, documentation and optimization of end-to-end processes – from vehicle exit to transport

Own takeover of tasks and subprojects with increasing self-responsibility

Cooperation with international interfaces from logistics, IT and specialist areas

The internship can start from September 2026.

Studies in Logistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or Similar

Interest in agile methods (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and digital processes

Enthusiasm for automotive industry, logistics and global transport processes

Structured, independent and responsible operation

Motivation to take responsibility and think end-to-end

Very good German and good English skills

High IT affinity and interest in latest technologies
