Systems Engineer IT Server Infrastructure and Service Integration (m/f/d)

Conception and system integration of complex IT systems for naval ships, including the creation of derived requirements, technical specifications and test regulations Accompanying subcontractors through the entire order processing process from system design to integration Examination of technical offers and technical support of project management Participation in system certifications Planning, implementation and acceptance of commissioning on board

Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, communications technology or a comparable qualification Professional experience in IT infrastructure, complex system architectures and virtualization solutions as well as sound knowledge in server/storage, virtualization (e.g. VMware) and administration of Linux and Windows servers Experience with the integration of new applications and services into complex system landscapes and first practice in project execution according to V-model XT or similar development models Team-oriented work, strong sense of responsibility, self-employment, flexibility and self-initiative Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing, routined handling of the current MS Office programs and willingness to occasional national and international missions, partly in the form of seafarers
