IT Manager for Department Z.II.1 “Digitalization and Information Security” (m/f/d)

The BBK is the head office of the Federal Government for National Crisis Management in Germany. We ensure the quality of crisis management in a central coordination role with federal, international and cross-sector partners. In view of this task, our interdisciplinary team is growing steadily. We are looking for dedicated professionals who want to make Germany more crisis-proof. We are looking for unlimited duration at the next time an IT manager (w/m/d) for the Unit Z.II.1 “Digitalization and Information Security” Group E 14 TVöD (Bund) at the office of Bonn.

Innovation and further development – You are developing the information and communication technology in the BBK by introducing new technologies and optimizing IT processes. In addition, you are actively driving forward the strategic development of the digitalization of the BBK. Conceptual work – You create independent safety concepts, technical guidelines and action guidelines. Project management – You plan, develop and implement IT projects for the entire BBK. As an IT project coordinator, you contribute significantly to efficiency and innovation and ensure that IT projects are completed on time, in budget and in the desired quality. Contract and service management – You work closely with the IT service provider and other external partners and take over their monitoring and control.

You have successfully completed a scientific university degree (Master/ Uni-Diplom) in the field of computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, communications technology or a comparable degree course with a focus on information technology. Ideally, you already have professional experience in the IT field of an authority. You like to work in the team and act very service-oriented. You communicate competently and appear address-oriented. You penetrate technical facts quickly and are able to understand them in a way that is appropriate to the address. You have the ability to adapt flexibly to changing tasks. Current written and oral German knowledge (C 2 GER) complete your profile. Since our tasks are safety-relevant and event-oriented, we need your willingness to extend the security review under the Security Audit Act and to participate in the crisis organisation of the BBK.

Application of officials – If you are in an official relationship of the superior service, we will take you up to the grade A 14 in the same status by means of a disorder with the aim of the transfer. In the presence of the individual requirements, we offer the takeover into an official relationship. Professional allowance – Depending on the applicant's situation and the personal requirements, we may grant you an additional temporary allowance of up to 1,000 euros per month.
