Contract Manager/Lawyer

At Bremerhaven or Bremen, you will strengthen the group ''Legal'', which is subordinate to the management. Together with another lawyer, you accompany the various legal processes at the institute. We support each other irrespective of the areas of activity. The open exchange and cooperation, also beyond team boundaries and locations, are particularly important to us. With your focus on contract law, you are responsible for the testing and processing of offers to our industrial customers within the framework of research and development projects. You also take the communication with our contractual partners. This also includes entering into negotiations, engaging in the interests of the institute and possibly working towards a compromise. In addition, you will test and verify confidentiality agreements. That's not enough for you? With your legal knowledge, you are on the side of the entire institute and also answer general legal questions (e.g. for the right to award or guarantee or for licenses). In addition, you will form the intersection with the central legal departments of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and work closely with our colleagues there. Last but not least, you take responsibility for the topic of data protection and take care of the institutional implementation of the requirements.

You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a law-scientific degree course (e.g. economic law). You may have completed your first and even your second legal state exam. You can safely apply your knowledge in the general and special part of the right of guilt in everyday work. You may also be familiar with data protection and/or procurement law? Administrative questions are yours as well? Super, but that's not a must! Industrial property is also known to you? Great! You are also fit in the common Microsoft Office programs and have ideally already first touch points with SAP. We act on the IWES at an inter­national level, which is why, in addition to knowledge of German and English, you will facilitate everyday work.
