Senior Development Engineer FPGA / VHDL | Xilinx Vivado (m/f/d)

For a challenging development project in the high-tech environment, we are looking for a Senior Development Engineer FPGA / VHDL (w/m/d). In this role, you design firmware development for complex embedded and FPGA systems and accompany the entire development process from architecture to implementation to verification and integration. Description Development, implementation and optimization of FPGA firmware based on VHDL Use of the Xilinx toolchain (including Vivado, ISE, IP integrations and Constraint Management) Implementation of simulations and verifications using common tools such as ModelSim or QuestaSim Creation and further development of testbenches and automated test environments Analysis, troubleshooting and debugging of FPGA designs at hardware level Integration of FPGA solutions into complex embedded and system architectures Support in designing hardware architectures and system designs Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as description of development processes and best practices Close cooperation with hardware, software and system engineering Participation in the continuous improvement of development processes, methods and toolchains

Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, aerospace technology or a comparable field of expertise

Multiannual professional experience in VHDL and practical experience in the development of complex FPGA systems

Found experience with the Xilinx toolchain, especially Vivado

German and English knowledge (C1)
