As Head of AI & Digital Transformation, you take a strategic key role and are responsible for our AI strategy as well as the digital development of our products, security operations and business processes. You identify potentials, develop economically relevant AI applications and ensure that innovative ideas become measurable added value. You are responsible for the “What” and “Why” of our AI solutions – from strategy, use cases and process optimization to AI models to validation under real conditions of use. Together with the Head of Software Development, you ensure that successful solutions are subsequently transferred to stable, scalable and long-term products.

Your tasks

Development and implementation of the company-wide AI and digital transformation strategy with focus on innovation, automation and sustainable efficiency enhancement. Identification, assessment and prioritization of new AI-use cases for our products, security operations and internal business processes as well as deriving concrete economic added value. Analysis and further development of existing business processes through intelligent automation, AI-based solutions and new digital technologies. Conception, control and validation of innovative AI solutions and proof-of-concepts – especially in the fields of computer vision, video analysis, AI agencies, large language models, predictive maintenance and automation. Accompanying new AI solutions from idea to productive use – from practical tests and field validations to the definition of technical requirements and transfer to software development to successful introduction. Assessment of new technologies and technological trends in terms of their strategic potential, technical feasibility and economic benefits for LivEye. Building and developing appropriate standards for AI governance, data quality, security, traceability and responsible use of artificial intelligence. Professional and disciplinary leadership as well as further development of the AI team and close cooperation with management, software development and specialist areas for the sustainable anchoring of AI and digitalization in the company.

Complete study of computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, economic informatics, industrial engineering, BWL with pronounced digital/technology reference or comparable qualification Multiannual relevant professional experience in AI, machine learning, data science, digital transformation or technology-driven product development Detectable experience in the identification, evaluation and implementation of AI and digitization use cases – from potential analysis and prioritization to validation Funded understanding of modern AI technologies, in particular generic AI and large language models leadership experience and joy in developing teams professionally and personally Impressed business and process understanding as well as the ability to translate technological potentials into concrete applications and measurable economic added value Impressed communication and stakeholder competence and the ability to prepare complex technological topics for management and disciplines in a comprehensible and decision-oriented manner Strategic and analytical thinking combined with hands-on mentality, high self-initiative and pronounced implementation strength
