Intern (m/w/d) Applied Research from spring 2027 for 6 months Company: Hochland Deutschland GmbH Area: Research & Development Place of use: Heimenkirch You want to develop the cheese innovations of tomorrow together with us? Then you are right with us in the Corporate R&D department at the Heimenkirch site! Everything is about developing and optimizing delicious cheese specialities and alternatives.

You develop your own measurement method or analyze future product innovations – your ideas make the difference. Furthermore, you support our team in exciting research projects with regard to future trends. To do this, you research interesting possibilities in the literature and independently plan experimental series. After that, you conduct experiments on modern measuring instruments independently, evaluate results and share your findings in the team. You support our team in the measurable optimization of product properties – always at the heart of innovation. During the internship you will experience the synergies between applied research and other departments, e.g. product development, in our research facility in Eisenharz and at our production site in Heimenkirch.

You are a student of process engineering, food technology/chemistry or a comparable degree program and want to apply your knowledge in practice. Scientific work and analysis of foods are fun – you are curious about new technologies and measurement techniques. You bring solid knowledge to MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and can express yourself safely in German (mind. C1). Your analytical thinking and enthusiasm for innovations make you a creative stimulus in the team. Mobility is not a problem for you: equipped with a driving licence, you are ready to commute between our locations Heimenkirch and Eisenharz. Does this sound like an exciting challenge?
