We would like to take the following place at the next time in our department of Metropolitan Region, Regional Development and Europe: Senior Consultant (m/w/d) for regional development / data and analyses in parttime (15 hours/week) and terminated until 31.03.2027 The Metropolitan Region, Regional Development and Europe department develops strategies and concepts that ensure the competitiveness of the FrankfurtRheinMain region and implements them in regional pilot projects. It provides a platform for regional cooperation for forward-looking issues and tasks and creates the necessary implementation structures for central projects. In addition to the regional representation of interests, the department is responsible for statistical data analysis, the creation of structural analyses and forecasts as well as for the design of project-related data bases.

The quantitative and qualitative survey and independent research and evaluation of data for the metropolitan region and the association area Programming and combining calculation tables Designing and creating graphics and maps to visualize the collected data and analyses The delivery of audited and evaluated data for updating various (digital) statistical products The collaboration on the design of monitorings, analyses and other data-based products as well as the creation of text drafts and the editing of texts for various publications and products of the department

A successfully completed university degree (Bachelor) in the field of geography, social sciences or a comparable subject Very good knowledge of statistical methods and safety in the application of these methods The ability to analyze and interpret and to display statistical data(series) Secure handling of MS Excel and R Studio for processing and analysis of statistical data Safe handling of ArcGIS to design and create maps Very good German language skills Safe handling of all other common Microsoft products Affinity and care in handling data Analytical thinking and conceptual working Responsibility and reliability

A temporary part-time job up to 31.03.2027 with a weekly working time of 15 hours, the payment of which takes place according to the public service collective agreement (TVöD) in the pay group 9c TVöD.
