Technology Consultant / Science Editor

As a technology consultantin/scientific editorin you take on tasks in specialist communication and public relations in the context of publicly funded research and innovation projects. You prepare complex technical content according to target groups and support the transparent presentation of funding activities at the interface of research, business and politics.

You are responsible for the implementation of information and publicity measures in order to present the funding policy in an address-oriented and transparent manner. You will start press release and act independently in the care of our website as well as the general journalistic preparation of project contents. You act as an interface between our PT core business and the event organization. You participate in the strategic development of the publications of VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH. You strengthen the synergy between specialist communication and the publication “Innovative University”. Together with relevant interfaces, you test the development of specialist communication and initiate appropriate communication measures.

You have completed university studies with a scientific, technical, economic or social science focus. You have a good sense of relevant topics and you have the ability to work up complex technical content according to target groups. You master the handling of CMS systems, you know about digital workflows, SEO and modern content formats. You work and work equally structured and cooperatively in interdisciplinary contexts. Organizational talent and initiative are among your strengths, and you want to actively shape the digital transformation in the media world.
